DUALITY — Inaugural Group Show

DUALITY — Inaugural Group Show by Lio Projects

DUALITY — Lio Projects Group Show
1444 Dupont St., #10, Toronto, ON
April 1 – April 29, 2023

The exhibition features five artists presenting new work: Ash Holmes (paintings), Naomi Clark (paintings), Saxon Quinn (paintings), Dan Covert (sculptural works), and Solem Ceramics / Tamara Al-Issa (sculptural works).

The exhibition explores the idea of two concepts that are often in opposition to each other. Artists use this framework to explore new ideas in their work while presenting their most authentic selves. Examples of duality include material contrast — light materials appearing heavy — and conceptual tensions: process involving failure, then progression.
